| 内容記述 | Ａ高等学校の運動部では，顧問が「部員達が思いきり部活動をできる環境の有難さ」を自ら感じてくれることを願って，毎年２回近隣の特別支援学校でボランティア体験を行っている。部員達は，顧問の狙い通りに，ボランティア体験を楽しく有意義なものと感じ，頑張ろうという気持ちを抱いている。さらにそれだけでなく，ボランティア体験をしていない生徒に比べ，有意に高い割合で教育学系への進路を選択していた。 この中には，ボランティア体験が自己の進路決定に影響を与えたことを意識している部員だけでなく，潜在的に影響を受けている部員もいる可能性が示唆された。今後は，不足している特別支援教育への意欲を持った教員の希望者を増やすために，高校生によるボランティア体験の推進が重要と考えられる。 |

| 内容記述 | The coach of a certain high school athletic club takes the club members to a nearby special needs school to volunteer twice a year because she expects that her students may appreciate the possible environmental value of making full use of the club. Club members felt that volunteer experience was significant and enjoyable, and they decided to make efforts in accordance with the aims of the coach. In addition, they chose to major in education at college in a significantly higher proportion than those who had no volunteer experience. One member in particular was aware that volunteer experiences had influenced her own educational path. The possibility that other members had been unconsciously influenced by volunteering was also suggested. It is thought that the promotion of volunteer experience for high school students will be important in the coming years for increasing the number of applicants with the will to teach special needs students. | |||||
