Club members felt that volunteer experience was significant and enjoyable, and they decided to make efforts in accordance with the aims of the coach. In addition, they chose to major in education at college in a significantly higher proportion than those who had no volunteer experience. One member in particular was aware that volunteer experiences had influenced her own educational path. The possibility that other members had been unconsciously influenced by volunteering was also suggested.
