| 内容記述 | 植草学園大学構内には約 2ha のビオトープ「植草共生の森」が造成されている。「共生」の名が示すように，障害のある人もない人も，子どももお年寄りも，誰もが安全に楽しく散策したり様々な体験や学習をしたりする場の創出を目指して 2012 年より整備を始めた。当初は放置された荒れた森であったが，2020 年現在は，多様な環境の創出により，多様な生物が観察されるようになっている。また，これまでの整備活動及びビオトープを活用した体験活動を通して様々な学習を提供することができた。今後も継続的な整備活動が必要であるが，目標としていた持続可能な里山をモデルとしたビオトープの大枠は形作られてきたので，ここまでの整備と活動の記録を記すこととした。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | “Uekusa Symbiotic Forest,” a biotope with an area of about 2 ha, has been created on the premises of Uekusagakuen University. It was started in 2012 with, as the name "symbiotic" suggests, the aim of creating an open space for everyone including people with and without disabilities, children, and the elderly to take safe and enjoyable walks, and to experience various activities and kinds of learning. Initially, it was an abandoned wild forest, but as of 2020, a variety of organisms have been observed due to the creation of diverse environments. In addition, we were able to provide various learning experinces through maintenance and hands-on activities in the biotope. It is necessary to continue activities in the future, but since the outline of the biotope goal based on the sustainable “Satoyama” model has taken formed, it was decided to report the maintenance and activities up to this point in time. | |||||
