However, it is difficult to introduce RP in a teacher training class in the original way. \nTherefore in order to fully take advantage of RP in a class, we have modified it. We call the modified RP Story Making RP （SMRP）. In this study, we confirmed the effect of SMRP with a theme of peer relationships on the acquisition of problem solving abilities. Compared to previous SMRPs with themes of child-parent relationship, students were able to gain awareness of the feelings of peers in the same way. As to their problem solving abilities, they seemed to experience more positive feelings compared to the previous SMRPs. Students became able to take their roles more actively in SMRP with the theme of peer relationship than in SMRP with the theme of child-parent relationships which might contain the heavier tasks. The result showed the potential effectiveness of SMRP with a theme of peer relationships for teacher
