Secondly, we will identify the issues and recommend basic concepts/knowledge be included in health education programs. Methodology in research and analysis was conducted though a survey on 292 first and second year undergraduates in the Faculty of Child Development Education and the Faculty of Health Science at Uekusa Gakuen University. The findings are as follows.\n1. Within the university students’ lifestyle, the points of focus are their late sleeping hours and widespread irregularity in meal consumption; i.e. skipping breakfast.\n2. Daily dietary servings of vegetables, fruits, beans/bean products, and milk are not being consumed; nutritional intake needs to be corrected.\n3. There is a relationship between lifestyle and the condition of nutritional consumption.\n4. There are differences found between faculties and gender in lifestyle and the condition of nutritional consumption.\n5.
