Nakatsubo (2002) mentioned four requirements for teachers to perform: 1. make work-activity “units”; 2. let students take part in “managing” the activities; 3. let students participate spontaneously; 4. work with students. In order to examine teachers' actual support, the authors conducted a survey over two years using questionnaires completed by teachers working for the high school division of a school for children with intellectual disabilities, attached to Chiba University, Faculty of Education.\nThe questionnaire consisted of four questions based on the above four requirements. Analysis of the survey indicated that effective support was provided, and that giving support following the four requirements was
